Acer laptop running Windows Vista Home Basic.' Extensa 5620Z'Basically the laptop has a virus & i want to restore it to factory settings. We have another (newer) Acer laptop which i restored this week which was easy - there was a section on the laptop where it said 'restore to factory settings' which when selected, did just that.So i tried looking for something similar on this laptop but can't find anything.

I can't find anything to create a boot CD which could then be used to restore to factory settings.I know it can be done because i had to do it on this laptop a few years ago, but i can't remember how i went about it.any ideas?EDIT: If this would be better suited in another forum, could a mod please move it.
