Let the leader in professional desktop performance make your transition to USB-C smooth with the SD4610P USB-C Docking Station with Power Delivery. The dock gives you the ability to harness the technology inside your laptop or tablet so video, data, audio and charging all go through a single cable. The host device needs to be running Windows 10, 8.1, Mac OS X 10.10 or later, or Chrome OS and must be configured to support Power Delivery (PD) to enjoy the USB-C charging. The dock can support up to single 4K (@ 30Hz) video or dual 1080p (@60Hz) on Windows devices and up to a single 4K monitor (@ 30Hz) on Mac and Chrome OS devices. Zero Footprint mounting makes it ideal for workstations with limited space (K33959WW mount sold separately). Note: USB-C is a new and very versatile standard, because of that compatibility can be confusing. Not all USB-C devices are configured the same, so it’s important to check if your device supports Alt Mode video output and USB-C Power Delivery, as well as Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for multi-monitor support, to take advantage of all the features of this docking station.

Best For: USB-C Laptops & Ultrabooks that support Power Delivery and Monitors that support up to Single 4K or Dual 1080p. Connection Technology: USB-C Alt Mode.

Compatibility: Windows 7 or above, Chrome OS 44 or above, macOS 10.10 or above. System Requirements: Host device must support Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt mode over USB-C, as well as Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for multi-monitor support. Mac and Chrome do not support dual displays via MST today.

Video Ports: 1 x HDMI v2.0 and 1 x DisplayPort v1.2. Resolution: Single monitor: 4096 x 2160 @ 30Hz and Dual monitors: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz (macOS and Chrome OS devices only support a single display).

I have recently updated my iMac to 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 OSX 10.8.4.Previously I had a 2007 Intel iMac. I had a Tascam US-122 Audio-Midi interface which I used with Logic Pro. When I updated the iMac, the Tascam wouldn't work, so I acquired a newer model, the. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers and firmware update, which are said to be compatible with this version of OS X.However it is not working. In the Sound control panel, I'm seeing this:If you select it, you get no output. In ApplicationsUtilitiesAudio MIDI Setup I can see the device, but none of the sliders respond:In the devices control panel, I noticed the following error message:This device is USB 2.0. Anyone have any ideas of how to trouble-shoot?

I will try and ask Tascam but they don't appear to have end-user support, and I bought the unit via mail order, so I can't go back to the retailer. But as it stands, this unit is currently an expensive paperweight. If you go to ApplicationsUtilities, there is an app called AUDIO Midi Setup.app. When that is launched, go to WindowShow MIDI Window. Then from what I recall, you're able to scan for connected devices. There is also an Add Device icon. I.think.

I either scanned, or I used that to connect, when the TASCAM was plugged in - it was 6 months ago now and I have forgotten exactly what I did. (The annoying thing was, I already had the Tascam US122 which was the earlier model, but otherwise very similar, and had I known about this step, it might have worked on this iMac, but it is now sitting idle gathering dust.)But this step of opening MIDI/Audio and then opening the MIDI window, is not documented anywhere in the Tascam manual and is hardly obvious from looking at the iMac. With the older versions of Mac OS, connected midi interfaces were auto-configured.That's all I know. Well, this Tascam US-144 has stopped sending MIDI. It works fine as an audio interface, and in all other respects, but when I hit a key on the Midi controller, Logic Pro doesn't register a MIDI signal.

So it is not sending MIDI. I have the latest driver, it appears as a Device in the Audio/MIDI app, but Logic Pro just doesn't know that it is there.I.think. this is a dud device, from what I can tell. I will have to replace it with something that has local support. So now I have two Tascam Interfaces basically gathering dust. Probably the last time I risk that make.
