You're welcome.As for sound there is a file you can download which fixes the sound in Max Payne. If you search sound fix in this forum there is probably a link to it. I've replayed through to nearly the last area and no problems with sound. Previously it would cut out and be distorted.Secondly there are various fixes for full screen. If you notice Max Payne probably runs for you not in full screen so a little gets cut off. The fix I use is a program on steam called borderless gaming, it's a couple of pounds and you can run it in the background.

It then turns the windowed Max Payne into full screen windowed which looks identical to full screen.There are free options including a task manger version which did work for me but was a bit of a faff to do each time.I really recommend taking the time to at least do the sound fix as it will make the game much better.
